We are just over halfway through Term 3 and have had a busy term so far. Last week we celebrated Book Week, having our annual Book Fair. This week we are celebrating visual arts with an Art Show, next week will be our Faction Carnival.

One Big Voice

Our Choir will be performing at the Perth Arena tomorrow as part of the One Big Voice concert. The students in the choir have worked extremely hard to learn the songs and actions, attending additional choir sessions in preparation for the event. I would like to acknowledge the work and additional time Ms Shauna Reynolds has devoted to the choir in the lead up to this event.

Positive Behaviour Support – RISE

Each fortnight we focus on an expected behaviour from our matrix. Expected behaviour are explicitly taught and include a SHOW (Yes/No Behaviours Video), TELL (Why we are doing this behaviour and what it means to show that behaviour) and PRACTISE (where students have the opportunity to demonstrate the expectation skills or learn more about the expectation in various settings).

Lost Property

We have increasing numbers of jumpers and jackets in our lost property outside the library. If you child has lost anything, please encourage them to look in the lost property or feel free to come and have a look.

Faction Carnival

Our Faction Carnivals will be held on Wednesday and Friday next week. All students have brought home a list of events they will be competing in. We also have lists of events and competition on the windows around the school. We are looking forward to a fun filled few days.

Voluntary Contributions

A huge thank you to the families that have paid their voluntary contributions this year, so far we have around 45% of contributions paid. We encourage all our families to make this payment as all the monies go directly to supporting your child’s education. Progress payments are welcome and can be paid at the School Administration or by direct deposit into the school bank account.

Payment of Contributions can also be made at the school office by cash, cheque, or EFTPOS or by direct deposit into the school bank account
